Common questions
Do I need an account?
No. NZ Driver Test does not require account registration or sign-in.
Where is my progress stored?
Study progress, test history, wrong answers, and settings are stored locally on your device. They are not synced between devices.
Why am I not receiving reminders?
Confirm reminders are enabled in NZ Driver Test and notification permission is enabled in your device settings. Battery-saving or focus settings may also delay notifications.
Is this an official NZTA app?
No. NZ Driver Test is an independent study app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi or any New Zealand government agency. Refer to the official New Zealand Road Code for current information.
